The dedicated Physics Laboratory at Al Rushed American Private School provides students with a professional-grade experimental workspace to complement their theoretical classroom learning. Aligned with NGSS and AP Physics standards, the lab features precision instruments, digital sensors, and experiment stations for mechanics, waves, electricity, and thermodynamics. Students write detailed lab reports and analysis as part of their AP and regular physics coursework.
Electricity & Circuits
Series and parallel circuits, resistance measurement, voltage analysis, Ohm's Law, and electromagnetic induction labs.
Waves & Optics
Light refraction, reflection, diffraction experiments, wave properties, prisms, and lens behavior studies.
Mechanics & Motion
Newton's Laws practical investigations, force measurement, friction coefficients, and projectile motion analysis.

Lab Safety & Protocols
Safety goggles are mandatory for all experiments involving electrical circuits, optical equipment, or heat sources. All electrical experiments are conducted under strict teacher supervision. Emergency shut-off switches and fire extinguishers are stationed throughout the lab.
